QUIKXE ("we", "our", or "us") operates the automated document printing and Xerox aggregation platform connecting students, professionals, and campus print shops. We understand that your print documents contain sensitive academic, personal, and business materials. This policy details our document lifecycle, retention rules, and security measures.
Automated File Purge
Uploaded print files are automatically scheduled for permanent deletion once collected or after a maximum 24-hour retention window.
Encrypted in Transit
All transfers use TLS/HTTPS encryption. Files are stored in access-restricted private storage buckets with strict path validation.
Zero Content Inspection
We never inspect, train AI models on, or monetize the contents of your uploaded PDFs, resumes, books, or assignment files.
1. Information We Collect
a. Customer & Account Details: When you place a print order or register an account, we collect your name, phone number, and optional email address. These are used strictly to send order confirmation, notify you when your physical prints are ready, and allow counter pickup verification.
b. Uploaded Documents & Print Files: Files you upload (PDFs, Microsoft Office documents, images, text files) are ingested solely for conversion into print-ready raster streams and dispatching to your chosen Xerox shop's physical printer.
c. Print Settings & Order Metadata: Paper size (A4, A3), color mode (Black & White, Full Color), sides (Simplex, Duplex Long Edge, Duplex Short Edge), binding preferences, copies count, and timestamps.
d. Payment Details: Online payments are processed directly by our RBI-compliant payment gateway partner (Cashfree Payments). We only receive transaction confirmation IDs, payment status, and order totals. We never receive or store your credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, netbanking credentials, or UPI MPINs.
e. Shop & Hardware Telemetry: For partner print shops running the SpoolX desktop agent, we collect hardware status (printer name, connection state, paper-ready signals) to route print jobs reliably.
2. Document Storage, Retention & Deletion
We adhere to a strict principle of ephemeral document storage:
- Temporary Storage: Uploaded documents are saved with unique randomized cryptographic filenames in private storage.
- Upload Size Limits: Individual document uploads are strictly capped at a 50MB ceiling with MIME validation to safeguard platform performance and storage integrity.
- Workstation Cache Zeroization: When the local SpoolX agent spools your document to the physical Windows print queue, local cached temporary files are wiped and deleted from the operator's computer disk upon print completion.
- Automated Purge Schedule: Our server-side cleanup task runs periodically to purge documents whose retention period has expired. Files associated with completed orders are deleted, and uncollected orders are deleted after a maximum of 24 to 48 hours.
3. Purpose of Data Processing
We process your data exclusively to:
- Render, format, and deliver your print jobs to the selected print shop.
- Generate secure 6-character pickup PIN codes and QR codes for physical counter handover.
- Facilitate customer service, refund verification, and transaction receipts.
- Prevent denial-of-service attacks, duplicate spooling, and fraudulent chargebacks.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or document metadata to third-party advertisers.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
QUIKXE uses browser Local Storage and essential session cookies strictly necessary to maintain:
- Your active order tracking ID and counter pickup PIN on your mobile device.
- Your cookie consent preference.
- Authenticated sessions for print shop operators and administrators.
You can manage or clear your browser storage at any time via your browser settings.
5. Your Rights & Privacy Inquiries
You may request immediate manual deletion of any pending order or document file by contacting our privacy team.
